Itinerary/ActivitiesWhat a journey. 10 days in Peru, travelling from north to south and seeing everything from ancient ruins to bustling cities to deserted beaches.


Some highlights:

- El Brujo archaeological site & Lady of Cao museum
- Mancora
- Vichayito & spending the night in a tent on the beach
- The Hemingway Route exploring the north beaches and fishing towns
- Hiram Bingham train to Machu Picchu and plenty of Pisco Sour with the band while they played Guantanamera and Elvis Presley covers in Spanish.
Most memorable part of tripMancora. I'm hooked.

Along the walls you can see the gold artifacts she was buried with. In the middle is the shroud that draped her and, at the back, is the Lady of Cao mummy. (Photo by )
