RAIL/ SAIL/ AND DINE IN VERMONT AND THE ADIRONDA


Day 1. We depart your hometown for Albany New York our day begins with lunch at the Golden Corral followed by a performance of Daniel O’Donnell at the Times Theater. This famed Irish tenor always does a great show and we have great reserved seats. Tonight we will overnight in the Comfort Inn. Albany. Lunch Included

Day 2 After breakfast you will make a stop at the New York State Museum before boarding the 11:00am Amtrak train to Plattsburg. a scenic ride through the Adirondack’s. Often in the summer and fall Amtrak places commentators on the trains for this run. The Adirondack route has been voted as one of the 10 most scenic rail trips in the country. ( you will be on the train four hours and there is a snack bar car on the train) You will arrive in Plattsburg about 3:00 pm. Your coach will be waiting and we will continue on to Burlington Vermont. Where we will overnight at the Fairfield Inn. You will have a chance to freshen up before sailing on a sunset Dinner cruise around Lake Champlain. Tonight we will feature a Dinner Cruise on the Spirit Ethan Alan III Be sure to keep your eyes open for Champs the creature that is supposed to be a cousin to the Loch Ness Monster. Breakfast and Dinner

Day 3 Our morning begins with a visit to Cold Holler where you can sample fresh pressed Cider, and locally made Jams, Jellies, Relishes and other food products produced in Vermont. For those that enjoy wines you can even go wine tasting. A short distance away is the Cabot Cheese Store Annex where you can taste and purchase a verity of Vermont Cheeses. For Lunch we will be in Montpelier Vermont and will visit to the New England Culinary Institute. After a tour of the school you will be served a gourmet lunch by the students. The food is always good and served to perfection. . Breakfast & Lunch
