"Out Back" Camping Adventure

Go Wild! Escape Civilization in the Woods of Maine

Experience Maine's wilderness with a mini adventure just "out-back" of Magic Falls Rafting Company's Base Camp in West Forks Maine.  Day One-Raft the Kennebec River followed by a hearty BBQ, then slide and video show. Afterwards, go for a short hike to 90 Ft. Moxie Falls (Maine's highest), swim in the pools above the falls and then embark on a wildlife safari in search of moose, deer, eagles and osprey. Upon return to base camp, lounge in the hot tub or go tubing on the Dead River. Magic Falls will set up tents, build a campfire and serve dinner with a choice of steak, chicken or lobster with homemade hot apple crisp for desert.  Day Two-Enjoy a campfire breakfast and a six mile Class II inflatable kayak trip on the Kennbec River.  Magic Falls supplies the camping equipment, tents, thick sleeping pads, meals, guides and transportation. Guests supply pillow, warm clothes, sturdy footwear, sleeping bag and flashlight.  Minimum 8 people required. For Adult adventure for those 21 and over, alcohol is permitted in moderation.  For family adventure minimum age is 10, no alcohol permitted.  The Family Out Back Adventure was recognized as one of the top family adventures in the USA by AirTran's Inflight Magazine "GO".
