In this clip from April 1995, we travel back home over the new MacArthur Causeway bridge over Biscayne Bay, which had just opened a few days earlier. At the time, only one eastbound lane was open which was accessed from Biscayne Blvd (US1). The rest of the traffic used the drawbridge.

In this clip is one such example, with construction underway on what is now the eastbound bridge. This was also a rare example of an interstate (In this case I-395) drawbridge. Overall video quality is poor, but the structure doesn't exist anymore, so I can't do it over. Also, because of the inane conversation, music has been dubbed in its place :)... |

 | Jackson Street Bridge Goes Back Down! Damn today was cool! The Jackson Street Bridge is seen going back to the closed position after letting some 30 sail boats pass through. They were trapped between Jackson and Adams because the Adams Street bridge wouldn't open.
