Scottish Highland Games High Jump Record
Andrew macdonald from Lossiemouth, while competing at the Grantown on Spey Highland Games on 24/08/08, from a grass take-off, jumped 6 foot 6 and a half inches (1 metre 99.4 cm), creating a new Scottish Games Association's new High Jump record. Andrew also holds the SGA long jump record, with a leap of 24 foot 2 inches. He set that record at the 2006 Tomintoul Highland Games. The metric equivalent of the leap being 7 metres 36.6 cm.
