A night like this was meant for two And I am here, but where are you? Have you forgotten The night that we met? With so much to remember How could you forget? The dreams I dream have yet to come true My dreams and I are ...
Aljoscha's Cheek to cheek
"Cheek to Cheek" is a lovely song written by Irving Berlin, and first performed by Fred Astaire in the movie Top Hat (1935). I really love to play this one. The song is probably most famous for its opening lines, "Heaven, I'm in heaven, and my heart beats so that I can hardly speak..." and was featured in the Astaire-Rogers movie, soon becoming a standard sung by many other artists, including Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Eva Cassidy, Doris Day, Jane Monheit, Frank Sinatra ...
