This is Uvdal on a winter day. Was just moving the camera around for some minutes in various positions, not far from the old medieval stave church :-) Viewers from the United States: Please be aware of the fact that this valley, the Uvdal valley in the bigger Numedal valley, was one of the areas from where a lot of people emigrated to the U.S, and especially states like Minnesota, North Carolina and North and South Dakota. You may have some roots here :-) The incomparable wooden loft building you can see between 1'03 and 1'10 is actually a very beautiful and well preserved medieval loft, approx. 800 years old. It is privately owned and belongs to the farm of Mellom Husebø (translated into Middle Huseboe Farm in English), but can be seen freely from a public road.
