This is part two of the Chicago Metra: Franklin Park video. This video took place on Thursday July 9th 2009 in Franklin Park, IL along the Metra Milwaukee District West Line. I was able to catch a Canadian Pacific freight making its way east as it had a meet with a westbound Metra commuter train. I also filmed an eastbound Metra commuter train and even a very special appearance by Metra F40C 611! I was very surprised to catch 611 as you could tell with my sporadic camera movements.  | Chicago Metra: Wheaton, IL Its Thursday July 9th 2009 and Im in Wheaton, Illinois. I was in Illinois visiting some friends and family and managed to get a little time to grab some footage by the tracks. I was able to capture two westbound Metra passenger trains followed closely by a group of Union Pacific MOW equipment. A westbound Union Pacific empty coal train makes an appearance as well as an eastbound Metra passenger train. So sit back, enjoy the video and thanks for watching! |

 | Norfolk Southern: Mableton, Georgia 8/17/09 I took a trip to Mableton, GA today to catch a shot of the Amtrak Crescent. It started out to be a gloomy, rainy day but luckily the rain let up just long enough for me to film some trains. The first train to roll through was an intermodal train lead by Norfolk Southern C40-9W #9314. A short while after, Amtrak P42DC #49 at the point of the Amtrak Crescent, roars through with horns blasting, and a very nice greeting from the engineer.  | Metra 166 Pushes Inbound Train #508 East, Wheaton, IL This train is in the center due to track construction. They can only let people on/off one car that is positioned in the middle of the street.
