Description:
This is a trailer for the upcoming adventure DVD "Journey to Alyeska" starring Joe Jungers and David Lakota, co-producers of "The Boundary Waters Four Men and a Dog". Journey to Alyeska is a three-day adventure hike from Eagle River, Alaska to the rainforest community of Girdwood, or "Alyeska", referring to the Athabascan name of the area as well as the center of world-class four-season resort at the Alyeska Prince Hotel. Two men travel up Eagle River Valley, cross a rushing glacier stream, up into the mountains along the Historic Iditarod Trail to the legendary Crow Pass. There they begin their descent into Glacier CIty, a rainforest village on the edge of both civilization and wilderness. The journey ends in the jacuzzi at Alyeska Resort, though this trailer only brings us as far as the Pass. Enjoy! and stay tuned for the upcoming feature-length DVD.
