 | Super-8 Test: The Reversal Stocks Part two of my Super-8 test reel. This time I'm looking at Wittnerchrome 100D and Ektachrome 64T As before, this was shot on a Canon 514XL-S camera at each film's true speed (actually the camera read both stocks at ISO 160), with exposure adjustments made for only half of the E64T footage. Again, all of the footage takes place in Chicago. Unfortunately for both of these stocks, at the time of year I shot this, there's not a whole lot to test the film's color rendition. |

 | Auricon 100D Optical Sound Test Optical sound recorded on Kodak 100D film stock. This test used a CD player and a CD as source material. The audio was recored using a Auricon NR25-S7 amp (input #2) and a Auricon Pro 600 Special model # CM-77D. With the audio in the correct range in the volume indicator, the sound track exposure setting was moved from about 17 down and back up again. This is done to find the correct sound track exposure setting for 100D. Note how the sound goes away completely with a sound track exposure ... |
