Damn good move, and then The Green Mesquite Barbecue (Beerjoint) and you are home baby. I don't know what beef ribs cost now but they were $12.95 for all you can eat back when I could eat plenty.  | Brown Bar at Colorado and Eighth in Downtown Austin I have to thank my best friend Troy for telling me about this place. This is a less traveled street for me. I had to drive in front of the Governor's Mansion when I turned left off of Eleventh Street and I can't remember the last time I went that way into Downtown. But, I found it and it was great and the bartender told me about another new place that just opened right across the street.  | Zax Pint and Plates on Riverside near South First in Austin Zax is a nice place. Somebody has dumped avbunch of money into this establishment. I remember it as Charlie's Hamburgers then as an Austin Music Venue and later Al Capone's Italian Restaurant. Well, those places are gone and I wish I had video, but I don't.
