This parade is the largest July 4th holiday parade in Northern California drawing over 40000 people. Attendees are known to set up their chairs 24 hours before the event to insure a good seat. The town passed a law several years ago making it against the law to leave chairs unintended along the route before 6:30 pm on the preceding evening. |

He rode from Menasha, WI, to Townsend, TN in June, 2008, to attend his all-AERO rally, then rode another 340 miles to visit us in Danville, VA, and ride the Blue Ridge Parkway with John and I. We stayed overnight in Roanoke, ran into heavy rain in the mountains, stopped at Dixie Caverns, Mill Mt., the Roanoke Star, Tuggles Gap and Mabry Mill. I am so proud of my Pa!
