Ranger 2002 Z06 11.55 117.69 Cold-Air Intake & Drag Radials
Description:
This is the only perfect pass I've ever driven at the drag strip. The launch produced a 1.64 60' time. The shifts were very good and at the perfect rpm. The Density Altitude was 1200 feet. The car dynoed 363 rwhp and 349 rwtq. This remains the fastest pass for a C5 Z06 with only deviation from bone-stock being a cold-air intake and DOT drag radial tires. Filmed at Maryland International Raceway in Budds Creek, Maryland on November 9, 2002. Two years later I finally eclipsed this time by .03 in exceptional weather conditions.

The car is a stock 2006 Corvette Z06 without any modification EXCEPT running drag radial tires. Density Altitude at the time of this pass was 300 feet.
