'Hieroglyphic Collages'
Description:
A show of hieroglyphic collages. Each of four poster sized works (ranging from 3 x 6 feet, up 4 x 10 feet) display bold hieroglyphs in the invented language of Tapissary. Within the silhouettes, details flush out stories and landscapes from a miniature world. Photos, drawing, painting, and texts intermingle, bursting against the seams of their host hieroglyphs. "Hieroglyphic Collages" will be exhibited at the Amos Eno Gallery in New York city from May 27 - June 21, 2008. For more information, visit www.tapissary.com Segments of Music: 1.
