 | So What-Cohasset Jazz Combo-Sofferman Clinic I had the pleasure of working with Stephanie Hoskin and Cohasset Middle and High School Jazz bands on 4/9/08. We did clinics during the day, and along with their performances that night, my group played as well. (see Sofferman Perspective) They had never been exposed to the major modes before, so in about 10 minutes, I explained the dorian mode to them, explained the scales and form, and off they went.
