Coyote-Hellyer Park, CA and Groesbeck Hill Sunset

Title:
Coyote-Hellyer Park, CA and Groesbeck Hill Sunset

Description:
Watch in HQ. Here, it shows my cousin Gretchen and I travel home from Gilroy. Then we went to Coyote-Hellyer Park and it was actually my first time there. It had a nice lake and we were able to walk around it, and see people feed the birds at the shores of the lake. Then to finish the day off, we went to another park to see the sunset. It was called Groesbeck Hill Park. It was near the Evergreen area and my house. It was wonderful to see the sunset on the hill with grassy meadows all around on the hill :)

Still learning how to do all this video stuff. Used After Effects to create a really simple into then tried a few very simple transition effects in Premier Pro. There is SO MUCH to learn about this but the challenge of figuring stuff out has been fun. Trying to capture video in my car is next to impossible because my suspension is so stiff so the video is really shaky.

Then later, we decided to continue up the road, approaching near the summit of Mt. Umunhum. We took pictures and walked along a nice trail on top of the hills by Mt. Umunhum summit. Mono Lake By Emil West
Mono Lake is believed to have formed at least 760000 years ago, dating back to the Long Valley eruption. Sediments located below the ash layer hint that Mono Lake could be a remnant of a larger and older lake that once covered a large part of Nevada and Utah, making it among the oldest lakes in North America. Mono Lake is a terminal lake in a watershed fed from melting runoff with no outlet. Dissolved salts in the runoff thus remain in the lake and raise the ph and the salt concentration ...
Dry Thunderstorms in San Jose, CA and Stockton, CA (Early Saturday Morning, September 12, 2009)
Watch in HQ please. Another series of rare thunderstorms for San Jose: Dry thunderstorms are expected from Friday evening until Saturday morning. These storms were created from the moisture of the remnants of Hurricane Linda, therefore creating enough instability in the atmosphere to produce dry lightning. In this video, it shows the lightning storm from up on a hill nearby Evergreen Valley High School. I saw lots of distant lightning strikes! There were a couple large ones that were a ...
Crabbing at San Francisco, CA
In this video, it shows me crabbing at San Francisco, CA with my families and cousins. While crabbing, we saw a carnival cruise ship leaving the bay area, it was cool. We also saw some jellyfishes and managed to get one :) The crabbing was not that good since there were lots of sea lions around and trying to steal people's bait!! It was fun though. Later, we weren't expecting to see a sunset due to this storm that was already arriving but I managed to capture some of the sunset on film. It ...
