The University of Maine at Machias held their 22nd Annual East Machias River Challenge on Saturday, April 26th on the East Machias River. The water was fast and the event, well run and a lot of fun. Twenty contestants competed. Justin Wardwell and Clayton Cole were the overall winners. The night before the race there was a lot of rain so the level was much higher than during the training.
