"Nana's Not Dead!" (Five by Five)
Description:
New video! This is a recent clip from a Thursday night improv show in Culver City. Oct. 2, 2008 to be exact. We often do a game called a "Five by Five" where five actors do five scenes. Each scene is in a seperate world with seperate characters but the amount of actors increase with each scene. So you get a 1 person scene, 2 person scene, 3 person and so on up to five. Sometimes we'll get to the five person scene and then revisit those worlds with people exiting in the order the came in until we're back down to the 1 person on stage alone again (Not in this clip those, we just do the straight 5). We just start with an action for the lone actor that starts and build from there. Enjoy! Players featured: Carrie Aikman, Tara Powell, Nikki Turner, Liz Gill, and Mary Benedict.
