Hi. I'm Jenny. Like so many people, I've taken hits from the economy. I'm looking for ways to have fun without harming the environment, spending too much money, or waiting in long lines. Low-impact tourism is a world of adventure and natural beauty that I'm eager to explore with you. From winding waterways to wildlife symphonies, a few local retrieves that I want to explore with you include Assateague, Southpoint, the Pocomoke River, historic Berlin, Snow Hill, and St. Martin's Neck. Together, we'll attend clambakes, art shows, and fishing tournaments. And, for summer 2009's grand finale, I'll offer enticing suggestions for fall activities like chili cookoffs and Punkin Chunkin.  | The Lower Grand River Flooding at Fishmasters February 14th, 2009 The water was flowing hard and fast overnight. With an Ice Jam holding back the flow at Port Maitland, it didn't take long for the levels to rise... Thankfully we are high and dry however the water has taken over a better part of our driveway... Some on the river side of Dunnville and Broad Street didn't fare so well... Thanks go out to the fire and police departments for doing a great job and checking in on us on a regular basis! |
