A buzzer beater in the Division II State final at the Value City arena Saturday night as Chillicothe prevailed on last second shot. Chillicothe lead by Anthony Hitchens 24-point performance beat Toledo Libbey 70-69 in overtime. Chillicothe down by 16-points twice during the contest fought their way back to end regulation tied 63-63. Toledo Libbey was up 1-point with 5.1 seconds left in overtime, when Hitchens drove the length of court to dish it to Chambers for the victory. Ohio State recruit, Toledo Libbey's William Buford lead all scorer's with 29-points.

State DI Semifinal: Newark 63, Toledo Whitmer 44
Newark advances to the State Division I final by knocking off Toledo Whitmer at the Value City Arena. Lead by Cody Dennison's 22-points and aggressive defensive play Newark was able to capitalize on Whitmer's 16 turnovers. Newark (23-4) will face St. Edward (22-4) Saturday in the State final.

Lead by Greg Avery's 33-points; arguably the top performance at this years State tournament, as Newark pounds St. Edward 65-52. St. Edward's Indiana recruit Tom Pritchard got into early foul trouble, scoring only 9-points. St. Edward also had no answer for Newark's Greg Avery, as he drove multiple times to the hoop unchallenged. Newark finishes the season (24-4), and their fourth state title in school history.
