Australias riverine and estuarine fish stocks are severely threatened by chemical contaminants from agricultural runoff and spraydrift. This report shows that the adult fish are usually not killed, but the eggs, larvae and early life history stages are severely affected, resulting in 100% mortalities of eggs and larvae - this is the same as a 100% fish kill, but it happens quietly, over a period of many years and out of sight, out of mind of the public, until now. Channel 7 Brisbane News, Monday 12 Jan 2009, copyright remains with channel 7. Carbendazim, endosulphan and other chemicals still being used in Australia, despite them being outlawed in many other parts of the world.

 | Farm on the liverpool plains, Australia this was my old farm where i grew up on untill 2004. This was a farm with irrigation. Its 10km from Spring Ridge which is on the liverpool plains in NSW. I still miss this farm today.We shouldnt of sold it.
