North Conway NH Skimobile on Mt Cranmore 1960's
Mount Cranmore in North Conway,NH was one of the original ski areas in the United States. One of the first ski lifts on the mountain was the famous Skimobile, built in the late 1930's. The Skimobile was a ski lift in winter and a tourist attraction in summer. Unfortunately, the lift was dismantled in the 1980's. This is a video of our little Striped Bass fishing adventure in the fall of '08. We've been going for the last few years without much success but this time we caught some nice ones. The weather was perfect till the a hurricane showed up... but that didn't stop us from catching Stripers!
