Record water levels, evacuations of hospitals, nursing homes, etc. jst in case of dike or levee breaks. 1997 was the worse to date at 39.7 feet. This year crest was 40.82 feet which was below predicted ... GREAT! Water will remain above 38 feet for a stinking week which will put stress on dikes and all. Is it time to move? |

Sandbagging continues in the fargodome, as Mayor Walaker asks for 500000 more sandbags. Strength, endurance and hope to all the volunteer heroes who continue to monitor the dikes and continue working together with national and state officials and the National Guard. |
