Half Dome on the way up
Description:
Took me over 10 hours to hike Half Dome trail which is 17 miles but finished with a smile. It is soooo beautiful. It is a streneous hike if you are not in shape. Only took 5 hours to get to the top. The last 2 miles took an hour a piece other wise I was moving at about 1 mile every 1/2 hour.

I felt that this one was tougher just because we needed to trust our legs entirely (nothing to hold on to). After a while of this video, there wasn't even anything like the stairs, it was just plain mountain with lots of granite gravel, that makes the mountain slippery. |
