Deltic 55022 arriving at Barnetby for servicing. It had worked a SRPS special from Linlithgow to Lincoln for the Xmas market. Unfortunately, the film was somewhat screwed up by Freightliner leaving a wagon in the perfect wrong place, then a EWS 66 passing at exactly the wrong moment. A broken rail at Brocklesby Junction caused major problems, with tpex been bustituted and freight trains stacked from Scunthorpe to Barnetby. Those that were getting through were all held. By this part of the video, the rail had been repaired and services had returned to normal. |
