Stockholm - Winter Wonderland
Stockholm in wintertime is a wonderful place. Colourful houses covered with a layer of snow. Two Dutch travellers - Derk and Reinier - wandered through the city searching for the best places to take pictures. See how they did it! Produced by Reinier van Oorsouw and Derk Steemers for Lonelyplanet.tv
Congestion in Copenhagen (YIKES: BIKES)
Tens of thousands of people commute by bike each day via Torvegade in Copenhagen. Here's the crush of rush hour - sure beats the honking and fumes of rush hour in NYC! OK, I have to admit, I had a little help. This was the backup resulting from the raising of the Knippelsbro drawbridge. It took quite a while to clear the backup (note how orderly everyone is, for the most part staying in the bike lane) - and there isn't much of a backup of cars or trucks!

Edinburgh - Lonely Planet Travel Video
Lonely Planet author George Dunford sums up Edinburgh. More Europe than Britain probably because of the month-long Edinburgh Arts Festival every August, the city is sophisticated Scotland. Pub culture is the backbone of society, making it easy to meet the locals. Try scotch or hand-made Real Ale but steer clear of football in conversation until you find out which team they go for! Copenhagen: City of Cyclists, Part 1 of 5 (ABB101)
Copenhagen: City of Cyclists, Part 1 of 5: Our very first episode of A Billion Bikes, takes us to the Danish city of Copenhagen, which has one of the most advanced urban bicycling communities in the world. A full third of their city workforce commutes by bicycle! This is an excellent 5-part program of weekly episodes. But first, a brief hello from Tour de France champion Floyd Landis, and a fun open.
