My Aunt invited us to go to the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival's ( hvshakespeare.org ) rendition of the romance play "Pericles". Very fun show, great group of performers, and the venue was really neat! A big tent-like structure with theater-in-the-round style seating and an impressive sound and lighting system.  | Boscobel Civil War Days 2009 Footage from Sunday's Boscobel Battle. This was a very moving battle, one which then led into the final surrender at Appomattox Court house. In my raw footage of the battle you can actually hear the narrators voice cracking as the Confederate Army surrenders. I want to extend a thanks to all my fellow reenactors who did a wonderful job with this. I didn't have to edit out anyone getting back up after being shot, nor did I hear any modern day things being shouted. |
