Chaser Video of confirmed tornado as it is leaving Canton, Missouri and heading towards Lima, IL. This was quite a chase day! Unfortunately, the contrast is very poor due to it being right at sunset...and the storm is coming from the west. Included several pics with better aspect ratios. All video and picks were shot right around 00z.

This is on the east side of Lewistown at the nursing home along MO hwy. 16, just off MO hwy. 6. This road doesn't offer much of a shoulder, so I pulled over here. This storm continued just north of Kearney and produced yet another brief tornado. You see the funnel briefly before it becomes rain-wrapped. When you see it again it is disappating. this all happpens in about 8 minutes.

Just a video of our storm chase that commenced on June 7th, 2009 in NE Kansas, SE Nebraska and NW Missouri. The video starts with a developing supercell South of Fairview, Kansas. About 1/3 of the way through is another supercell that had a well-defined wall cloud. Touring Tornado Damage-Sat. May 16, 2009 (Part 6-360 degree view from Novinger Baptist Church)
Now that Novinger isn't as chaotic as it was a couple of days ago, I decided to shoot this footage so you can see the devastation and the progress being made to clean up this town. May 8th 2009 - Missouri Derecho - Driving into Springfield
I took this video on the way to Oklahoma on 5/8/2009 of the derecho that cut across southern Missouri that morning. I stopped for awhile in an industrial park that seemed to receive a good portion of the damage. 18 tornadoes were confirmed by the NWS office in Springfield. Wind gusts from 70 - 90mph also accompanied the storm.
