The southbound train #91 greets patrons at the DeLand, Florida station with a good morning horn blast upon three separate arrivals shown here. See the SILVER STAR shine through some dense fog on the third day. Amtrak #91 was filmed arriving at the restored 1918-era station on November 29, December 8, and December 29, 2008. Times of each arrival are shown, as are views of the station and tracks looking to the north and to the south. Trains block the crossing at Old New York Avenue during stops to this station, formerly known as DeLand Junction. The SILVER STAR #91 departs from New York daily on its way to Miami by way of DeLand and other points in between. A custom-designed emblem for the SILVER STAR is featured, inspired from an emblem used currently across all Amtrak trains. This emblem is an homage to Trains P091 & P092.
