You may also find that it is illegal to use troops in an American town or shut a town down, as is suggested. There are strict laws about use of troops within America. When they are used, it is typically a national guard or reserves project directed by a state official such as the governor -- unless there is some kind of national emergency going on. And, if you think about it at all, why would soldiers do this kind of training in a tourist town frequented by people from Washington, which is less than two hours away? And what value is the training if they are merely going door to door to collect guns from people who agreed to it and then return the weapons later?
