i volunteered to sweep one of the first legs of the race course after all the compeditors passed through. we were at about mile 14 in the hills when we heard over the radio that bampbell was restarting the race, and would be at our location soon. we parked off the trail and i got the camera out for a quick shoot. enjoy.

next mod: bigger tires. damn rock was in the middle of the trail making it more difficult to take the line i wanted. got hung up on that guy a few times before someone winched it off the trail.

Shore to Ship and Back again - by Land Rover!
LRO spend a day with 40 Commando, The Royal Marines, 11 (ATT) Squadron, Instow, Devon. Mark Saville drove out to the landing craft and back, first as co-driver with trainer Phil Royale and then as driver. The water was 1.5-metres deep by the landing craft with waves occasionally breaking over the vehicle, I got very wet. The full feature is in LRO Feb 09 on sale December 31, 2008.

sometimes having a 67" front end isn't always ideal. try shoving it through a squeeze! i made it with a little finess.
