Seven Months MUSIC VIDEO 2007 World Tour

Description:
After seven months, 10 countries, four continents, and 122 cities and towns I've finally put together my first global travel-music video. Here's a link to it on youtube... I'll keep this one at the top of my list of blogs so that it'll be easy to find. Time period of this video: parkbenching from July 2007 to February 2008 in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Morocco, Spain, Portugal and the USA. Cities included in this video: Vientienne, Laos...Ipoh, Malaysia...Dcheira, Morocco...Greencastle, PA USA...Singapore, Singapore...Setubal, Portugal...Bangkok, Thailand...Steelton, PA USA...Tam Diep, Vietnam... Mifflinsburg, PA USA... Madrid, Spain...Sale, Morocco...Dover, DE USA...Faro Portugal... Selisgrove, PA USA... Siem Reap, Cambodia... Inezgane, Morocco... Lewistown, PA USA... Vang Vien, Laos... Favorite Parkbenching moments: 1. Playing for the monks at the monastary in the jungle near Hue, Vietnam The cool group of fellows I met in Casablanca, Morocco The Buddha Army in Hat Yai, Thailand was really cool (even though I didn't actually Parkbench there!) I don't usually get an audience when parkbenching in the USA, but Lewistown, PA was an exception...

Some people are under the impression that because the normal poverty line used internationally is often referred to as the dollar-a-day poverty line (implying it counts everyone living on less than a dollar a day as poor), a national poverty line of $0.45 (1826 riels) per day is unfair to Cambodians. This is not correct. The full description of the international poverty line is $1 per capita per day, 1990 PPP. The PPP stands for Purchasing Power Parity. That means, the $1 in the poverty line ...
Total Life Change MUSIC VIDEO 2007 World Tour
THIRD TRAVEL MUSIC VIDEO (April 9, 2008) I decided to go ahead and put together a third video--thus bringing "closure" to my '07-'08 Parkbenching Tour with at least one clip of every city I parkbenched in. The only exceptions are Philadelphia PA and Newark NJ (I had my camera turned sideways for those clips--and I can't figure out how to rotate them... any ideas?) These clips are mainly of Northeast USA--and the song is "Total Life Change"--I think it fits well with the theme... Here are all ...
My Obama Song MUSIC VIDEO 2008-2
Staying up all night watching the 2008 elections from my home in Casablanca, Morocco was a life changing experience. Within those few hours my perception of my native country was transformed. I can honestly say that I'm proud to be an American for the first time in my life... ...and yes, I'm white... I figured I had to write and record a song and create a video about this experience... The video is sort of a Travel Music Video--although almost all the clips are from the USA......
