Rio Grande trips in 1954 and 1956 riding the line from Alamosa westward. Ride in a caboose behind the engine for much of the 1954 trip getting great views. Be sure to click the HD button! First day of our private winter freight charter was high overcast and the engine had a steam leak - perfect time to shoot video instead of stills. Here's some test footage using the Canon 5D Mk. II in video mode. I did not have a video tripod so the pan at the end is slightly shaky, as I am rotating the camera on the ball head of the still tripod.
