This wordprocessor is invented in this city, so maybe I can have a look. But it takes too long to find it, so I quit my actions and start a new search for the Interstate 6. The map says it is simple: Orem, via the village of Provo and there is the I-6. After a two hours search and with the help of people shopping in a mall, I get to see the I-6. The I-6 gets me through the rough wilderness of Carson Canyon; a rock formation at two hours from Salt Lake City. At least, if you can find them. In the desert village of Price you can find a Burger King, a Subway and a Mac. Also, there is a golf course and there are people living there. After Price, the I-6 East and the 191 South split up; I have to follow the I-191 South. The landscape becomes more rough and more than ever I am longing to Once upon a time in the West by Ennio Morricone. This is the perfect decoration for a western movie. Alongside the I-191 South there is a parking space, where I film and photograph the many trucks I have photographed so far. This is seventh heaven for little Paulie. The I-191 South ends up and starts with the I-70 East. One would expect this would be a busy road. But that is not entirely accurate. The landscape changes is a moon landscape; a lot of sand and hardly any plants or trees. There is even a rail track (with some wagons on it). At a gas station near Salina and Green River I make another pit stop to get some fuel and use the rest rooms one more time, before I make the large jump to Grand Junction. Because the travel organization made a mistake, I am closer to Denver now, then I am tonight. I have to go back today, to Moab. I chose to go southbound on the I-50 South and 550 South and try to reach the state of New Mexico. The first stop is the village of Delta, approximately 52 miles south of Grand Junction. There is nothing to see or to do in Delta, apart from the local correctional facility. I am heading for Montrose on the 550 Eastbound. Also, in Montrose there is nothing to see or to do (or you must like the jetfighter, which is put on a standard at the local airfield). I am taking the 550 Southbound through the village of Ridgeway and the Dutch Charlie State Park. After the village of Ouray the fun begins for real; the 550 Southbound becomes a narrow road, getting me through the Red Mountains. Please stay concentrated on the road. One small steering mistake, and you will end up down at the bottom, with your car. There is nothing to catch you up and the maximum speed is 20 25 miles per hour.
