Description:
Shot in July 2000. Trip down Alaska's Richardson Highway from Fairbanks to Valdez. The video begins in the small town of North Pole, Alaska. The next stop is Rika's Roadhouse at Big Delta State Historical Park, a gathering place for Alaskan travelers since 1904. As I head south from Delta Junction there are nice views of the mountains and the Alaska Pipeline. I stop for the night at the Caribou Hotel in Glennallen. The trip from Glennallen to Valdez on the following day is especially scenic. I passed Mt. Billy Mitchell, Worthington Glacier and Bridal Veil Falls in beautiful Keystone Canyon.
