Here's the old patriotic anthem Columbia the Gem of the Ocean. This song was the unofficial national anthem of the USA for many years. It isn't heard much nowadays. I'm told that it is the tune used in the Popeye cartoons when Popeye the Sailor Man quaffs an entire tin can of spinach to bolster his strength, to endow him with superhuman strength, really. My performance is energetic--I had only recently eaten two thirds of a can of spinach and chased it down with a generous helping of butter beans. Yum.
