Most destinations traveled to via back roads include Cape Scott, Tahsis, Naka Creek, Sointula, Gold River, Strathcona Provincial Park, Woss, Winter Harbor, Holberg & Port Alice. Five days is not nearly enough to tour around the Northern Island, but what I did see was spectacular! Looking forward to visiting again sometime. John makes his way up the coast of Vancouver Island, and into the little area of Quatsino. There he meets some of the locals and hears the history of the forgotten little town, which is still pushing its way forward. The trip to Port Alice takes John out crab trapping and fishing.
