Old New Orleans Exploitation Movie - Opening Sequence
Here's a great opening to a pretty damn obscure, late 1960s exploitation movie set in the greatest city in the world, New Orleans. It has a lot of great period footage of the city, and of the burlesque scene in the French Quarter. I edited out the titles - if anyone recognizes this, you'll get a prize! As unbelievable as it initially sounded, This Old House just happened to come do a segment on a house I was working on at the time. I was wired w/a mic and got to interact with my all time favorite TV personality - Norm Abrams. My buddy Ted, (without whom I would not have been able to be a part of this) was sick as a dog the day of the filming but managed to get "healthy enough" to share some time with Norm too, and fortunately managed to tape our episode when it aired on PBS.
