New Passenger Car for the Virginia & Truckee Railroad

The Virginia & Truckee Railroad is expanding! The private tourist line just bought two new cars. They're really cool and one was delivered in July. To be clear this is the private railroad, not the state Reconstruction project. The private V&T Railroad is currently helping to construct the state project. On July 16 and 17, 2008, one of the two recent V&T acquisitions was trucked from Green Bay, Wisconsin to Virginia City, Nevada. I was going to follow the car across Nevada to make video of the trip when one of the pilot cars didn't show up. In my rented Honda Accordion, I was put into pilot car duty. We follow this former Kettle Moraine car from the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay as it crosses Nevada and is delivered to the Virginia and Truckee Railroad in Virginia City, Nevada.
