Featherbed-- Kentucky Fiddle Tune
The tune 'Featherbed'. It comes from the playing of John Salyer. Typically a cross A tune, my fiddle is tuned in the neighborhood of GDGD (cross G). The 'B' part is usually played 3 times although I think I play it only twice on the first pass... not to mention a few timing problems with this one... if I could just teach the dog to play rhythm guitar she'd straighten me out. Blackberry the dog joins me as she often does when I'm playing tunes out on the patio.
