 | Vado HD Review w/ Tips and Tricks Note regarding the audio quality: I just shot some footage of a backyard band and I'm impressed with the audio. Usually when you see footage of live bands, the audio is badly distorted and sounds horrible. But this sounds pretty good, especially considering how small the mic is. That static sound still comes and goes but it's barely discernible. I'm sure they designed the Vado hd's mic so people could use it to tape live concerts. Indoor macro footage was filmed with a 4x Macro & 10x Macro lens. Outdoor macro footage was filmed under natural lighting with the 10x macro lens and an ND2 Lens Filter. 100% raw footage right out of the Vado HD.
