Oregon Underground Caves National Monument

Title:
Oregon Underground Caves National Monument

Description:
About 50 miles away from Grants Pass, Oregon is an interconnected series of underground caves that are extremely fascinating to see. I had only before visited them in the early 1980's and decided to return in June 2009. This series of video clips will hopefully give you a little idea of what the [excellent] tour is like!

Another great day trip out of Gold Beach and perfect to combine with a trip to the Treesort. The Illinois river valley has some magical finds and the Oregon Caves national monument is at the top of the list. The historic Chateau is a great place to stay as you prepare to go underground in a cave. Hiking trails circle the lodge and the views from the top leave you breathless.
