New Camptown Races
Frank Wakefield and Bearfoot, a terrific young band from Alaska, playing New Camptown Races, Frank's ground breaking tune he wrote back in 1953 at the age of 19. Frank joined Bearfoot on stage for a couple of tunes, when Bearfoot played at the Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs, New York where Frank lives on January 4, 2008. Bearfoot band members include Jason Norris on mandolin, Mike Mickelson on guitar, Annalisa Tornfelt and Angela Oudean on fiddles and Kate Hamre on bass.
