Congratulations and thanks if you sit through this long vid! At first I thought it would be fun, then shelved it; but here tiz: Part One of a California Messages Series to be posted sporadically. This is a combo of California sights and actual messages from my phone answering service (don't worry, they won't all be). Sound strange? Maybe so LOL. Let me know your feedback. It gets exciting @ 6 minutes, with friend Tim's talk about Neptune being retrograde and pianist Andrew Johnson's Chopsticks compilation arriving at a roaring Jerry Lee Lewis highlight! The California sights shown are: Wayfarers Chapel, overlooks Catalina Island; designed by Frank Lloyd Wright's son, Lloyd Disneyland Park (sorry, I got into shooting just balloons!) Huntington Gardens Walt Disney Concert Hall Beverly Hills (Rodeo Drive and Wilshire Blvd.) brief stops at both the beach and the Somecrust Bakery, temporary headquarters of the (fake) Claremont Community College, (a brief statement by the Chancellor himself). My thanks to Andrew Johnson for permission to use his fantastic piano compilation/performance based on the Chopsticks theme! (there is also some happenstance music in the background of friend Tim's messages) Andrew can be found at www.youtube.com/forrestgump1546

 | Sights and Sounds of Los Angeles Sights and Sounds of LA is a bit of a send up of my "Sights and Sounds of New York". LA is fun, but there is not the same kind of "Sights" as there are in NYC. The titles are mostly a joke as well. Overall it's kind of interesting, but LA is no NYC. I did take lots of great still photos in LA though. |
