Honda Goldwing 1800. Texas motorcycle ride on one of the best roads off the beaten path between Austin and Houston, Texas. Bill Hamm on the Goldwing filmed by J. Collins following on a Yamaha VStar at Bastrop State Park. This is a December ride just before Christmas so we had the road to ourselves. Watch for a little loose gravel and tree limbs close to the road. Texas weather gave us a break this day as we only encountered a little fog and light rain.

We left Montgomery, Tx and traveled through Plantersville, Navasota, Independence and Burton. Thw wildflowers were a little scarce because of the dry winter but we found a few fields.
