The 14th Street bridge has finally reopened to traffic. It was closed for a total of fifteen months, leading to several detours and traffic headaches. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held this morning at 10:00 am The 17th Street ramp from I-75/85 will open late spring/early summer 2010. Also, GDOT has to repave northbound I-75/85 around the 14th Street bridge. Repaving will be held on the weekends, for the next eight weekends, depending on the weather.
