Well we got screwed on this one, we had 2 options: A- dip way south to get to a decent road to try and intercept or B- gamble with the core on a quicker, more direct route. We chose B. And the core won. Hail starts off small but then increases to about 2 inches in diameter, it was especially damaging because it was being driven sideways by 60+ mph winds.
