 | Flood of 2008: Iowa City (City Park) Major flooding in Iowa City Park on Thursday, June 12th, 2008. The water almost completely covered the lower part of the park, and the worst hasn't even come yet. The flood is expected to be at its worst on Friday, June 20th, 2008, with water levels of up to 31 feet. The water has covered the little league baseball fields, cancelling their games indefinently (their season is probably over for this year).
