 | Doing the "Wye" at Flag Center on 9-12-09 We had heard a rumor while doing some other video/photo work that there was a set of power that had a mechanical issue and was to come to Flag Center to reverse the consist. So later this trio showed up and did just that. Apparently the horn was inop on CSX 9050. The train was originaly eastbound towards Chicago. Due to the problem, it stopped at Shabbona, Illinois, disconnected from its cars and proceeded back to Flag. I knew the theory of the "wye" but had never seen it done. Basically ... |
