An unexpected snow blanketed New Orleans on the morning of Thursday, 11 December 2008. In the Carrollton section of Uptown, the snow fell for about an hour from 8am to about 9am. This video of Streetcar 971 shot on the corner of South Carrolton Avenue and Oak Street was taken about an hour after the snowing stopped. From about 9am to 11am or so the snow was replaced by sleet. The trailer for THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON (http://www.benjaminbutton.com) features a CGI-enhanced shot from this same location.
